Montana my way

Visit the Hook & Ladder Gallery at Copper Village throughout the month of June to experience a stunning display of Terrisa Olson. Terrisa Olson is a native Montanan with her roots planted deep in the state’s history as a member of the Crow Tribe. Born and raised in Billings, Mt. she spent summers as a child on her aunt’s farm in Pryor, Mt. on the Crow Reservation. The time spent with her aunt greatly influenced her and continues to emerge in her work. She has also spent much time in wild Montana, with her husband and children, which has inspired her art. Her mediums include watercolor, acrylic, ink, collage, pastel and gouache. She has developed
a line of greeting cards, Dipper Cards. They can be found at the Bigfork Art and Cultural Center, Bigfork, Mt. where Terrisa taught workshops. She also teaches private lessons, and as an art instructor endeavor to keep learning and seeing things in a new way, because of this you will notice a wide range of styles in her work. Terrisa is an award winning, signature member of the Montana Watercolor Society, currently with paintings included in the Members Only, MTWS show at “Explore the Arts Gallery”, Hamilton, MT. Painting is her first language. She loves art and instructing her students.
